JOWAI: Khliehriat Police arrested a coal labour and a coal mine owner for illegally extracting coal from a coal mine situated at Dkhiah West village in East Jaintia Hills District on Saturday.
The arrested persons were identified as Wanborlang Nongrum- a labourer and Steward Dkhar – a coal mine owner. Dkhar was released on bailed on the same day while Nongrum was remanded to police custody.
