Assault
On November 25, a group of 20/30 persons assaulted Abhay Chettri at Jhalupara, Dhobitala. As a result the victim sustained injuries and was removed to Civil Hospital Shillong. In this connection, Police arrested one Md. Moshin (28).
Threat
Yania Nidak lodged a complaint that on November 24 around 9.15 pm, one David Mara obstructed her from entering her room at Rngi Rynjah, abused, threatened her with dire consequences and also broke the mobile phone of her friend.
Woman killed
A woman died in GS Road, Ri Bhoi after she was fatally knocked by a Maruti Van on Wednesday. The incident occured on Wednesday evening at around 5.30 pm, when the vehicle (ML-10B-1717) driven by Ram Babu Ray knocked down Robika Marngar (45) at Lad Umroi.
