FIR filed in blackmailing case

SHILLONG: A woman resident of Jowai has been allegedly blackmailed and threatened by one person.
In an FIR, the resident of Salaroh, Jowai, said in the month of June 2015 one Almas Uddin had stolen her cell phone.
Later, he demanded money from her and threatened to blackmail her by using the photographs available on her cell phone, if she failed to pay the money.  The accused also created fake Facebook and Whatsapp accounts and threatened to edit her photographs and upload them on the internet.
