SHILLONG: The Dorbar Shnong of Mawlai Mawroh has issued an advisory to the people who pass through the area to adhere to traffic rules.
The advisory comes in the wake of the recent accident in the area which claimed the life of a youth.
The Dorbar Shnong also urged the residents of the locality as well as people coming from outside to avoid drinking inside vehicles parked in dark alleys and litering the surroundings with empty bottles.
It also restricted playing music loudly in the area.
People found flouting these rules will be handed over to the law enforcers the Dorbar said.
