City woman killed in assault

SHILLONG: A woman succumbed to her injuries after she was assaulted by unknown miscreants on Monday night at the residence of one Jyoti Kaur at Punjabi Line, Bara Bazar, Shillong. Police said that the victim, identified as Dipti Soni (35), sustained injuries and was removed to NEIGRIHMS where she succumbed to her injuries.
