SHILLONG: A person has lodged a complaint that the Dorbar Shnong has threatened to kill him for bringing before them an RTI filed on charges over and above the Government price for PDS sugar.
Donboklang L. Mawlong lodged a complaint with Mairang Police Station against Sordar Joanman Lyngdoh Mawlong, Rishan Lyngdoh Mawlong, Chostarwell, Nostor Marbaniang who threatened him for not consulting the Dorbar before filing RTI. They even demanded Rs 30,000 from the complainant.
As per the RTI, the PDS sugar is priced at Rs 20 but it is sold at Rs 25, while kerosene oil is distributed at 3 litre instead of 4 litre by the dealer.
