Disney India’s Consumer Products business has collaborated with 50 brands across categories including apparel, accessories, toys, home and many more to bring alive the “Star Wars” galaxy.
It now holds the record for maximum brand association for a Hollywood film in India along with “Avengers: Age of Ultron”.

“Star Wars: The Force Awakens”, which will release in India on Friday, has broken many records in the international market.
Directed by J.J. Abrams, the film launched to an estimated $238 million in North America, 14 percent ahead of Jurassic World, which debuted at $208.8 million this summer.
Globally, The Force Awakens landed at $517 million after opening to $279 million abroad.
The Force Awakens is only the third movie in history to open at over $200 million, besides its immediate rival “Jurassic World” and The Avengers.
It is also the first movie to cross $100 million in one day in North America. The film hit $250 million in worldwide ticket sales in only three days after beginning its rollout overseas, thus becoming the fastest movie to cross $200 million globally.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the seventh episode of the Star Wars series, features Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver and Daisy Ridley. (IANS)
