Constable dies after collapse

SHILLONG: A constable, who collapsed at the Mawkyrwat police station complex in South West Khasi Hills on December 29, died at NEIGRIHMS the next day.
According to police, on Tuesday, at around 9.30 am, the constable Michael Marak of Meghalaya Police Radio Organization (MPRO) collapsed in the compound of Mawkyrwat police station due to his illness. He was rushed to Mawkyrwat PHC from where he was referred to Civil Hospital Shillong and later was sent to NEIGRIHMS for medical treatment, where he died on Wednesday.
