SHILLONG: A woman identified as Bianly Jyrwa lodged a complaint that on December 30 at around 12.15 am, one Kwod Dkhar (41), attempted to burn her daughter Martida Jyrwa by pouring kerosene oil on her body, at his residence at Lumsohphoh, Lower Mawprem. As a result, the victim sustained 50 percent burn injuries. Police arrested the accused.
