SHILLONG: A woman in a village in West Garo Hills was allegedly raped in the absence of her husband and even threatened to upload the heinous video on the internet.
A woman lodged a complaint that during the absence of her husband who had been absent for the last six months, one Hamidur Rahman continually harassed her and in the month of November 2015, he raped her in her house at Phershakandi village (WGH) and recorded the act in his cell phone.
The accused also threatened to upload the video on the internet if she did not agree to his proposal. The matter is under investigation.
