New Delhi: Indian skipper Sardar Singh on Thursday said if Pakistan apologise for their actions in the Champions trophy, they could be part of the Hockey India League. Sardar futher said the main focus of the league is to bring top players across the globe on the same platform but due to some conflicts and other commitments some players are missing. ”Pakistan have still not apologised for their behaviour which they did in Champions trophy, if they do they can play in the league,” Singh said. ”Netherlands team players are also not taking part because of national commitment. It’s a loss to them only,”
Speaking on the preparations for the upcoming Rio Olympics, Sardar said, ”Injuries are the part of the game. As you know there will be a lot of traveling this month because of the league and then we will serve the national team so we have to take care of our body so that we can perform well in the upcoming matches as well as in Rio as it is very important for all of us.” ‘
‘They are the only players who will be up against us in Rio, so its important to study their game and technique so that it will give us little advantage in the Olympics,” he added.  (UNI)
