Accident
On January18 at around 3 pm, a Tata Nano car (ML-05L-3312) knocked down one Lumlang Kharkongor at Madanrting, Shillong and fled away. Matter is under enquiry.
On January, 18 at about 9.20 pm, a local taxi (ML-05M-2507) knocked down one Kolinus Kharkongor (46) at Madanrting, Shillong and fled away. Victim sustained injuries and was removed to Civil Hospital, Shillong. Matter is under enquiry.
On January 18 at around 9.30 pm, a mini truck (ML-05F-8564) driven by one Donboklang Pyngrope (22), knocked down Banpyntiplang Mylliemngap (28) at Smit (East Khasi Hills). Victim sustained injuries and was removed to Civil Hospital Shillong. Matter is under enquiry.
Fraud
On January 9 Ranadhir Dey lodged a complaint that he found that unknown miscreants fraudulently withdrew Rs. 34,660 from his SBI account.
A. Arora lodged a complaint that on January 5 & 7, 2016, unknown miscreants fraudulently withdrew Rs. 3,330 from her account at HDFC Bank, Police Bazar, Shillong.
Assault
On January 20 at around 12.30 am, unidentified miscreants assaulted H/C W. Marak of Lumdiengjri PS with a stone at Jail Road, Shillong. As a result, the victim sustained minor injuries and matter is under enquiry.
