Two occupants of a Maruti Alto car proceeding towards Shillong from Guwahati sustained injuries when the vehicle skidded and hit a truck parked at the side of the road. The incident took place at Quinine under Umsning Block, Ri Bhoi District on January 20 at around 8:30 pm.
The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Nongpoh helped in shifting Sylvester Wahlang (54/M) and Wankupar Kharkongor (58/M) to Bethany Hospital in Nongpoh.
