Dorbar Kur
Synjuk Lang Kur Kharkongor, Kharshiing and Kharlor will convene the Dorbar Kur on January 30 at Madan Mawlyngktop Mawphlang at 11 am. There will a football match and the meeting will begin at 12:15 pm.
Gospel meet
Gospel Outreach Ministry will organize a three-day “Unstoppable Amazing Love Conference 2016” at Khasi National Durbar Hall at 5:30 pm. On January 23 the programme will be held at Mission Community Hall at 9:30 am. Again on January 24, a meeting will be held at U Soso Tham Auditorium at 11 am. The speaker of the conference will be Pastor Shan Kikon from Faith Harvest Church, Kohima.
Platinum Jubilee
The closing function of platinum jubilee celebration of the Dorbar Shnong Mawlai Mawroh will be held on January 22 at 4 pm at the Indoor Stadium, Mawroh. Various programmes including a comedy show by SBUK will be held on the occasion.
Civic action plan
As part of its border management plan, the BSF organised a civic action programme at Mahendrganj in South West Garo Hills of Meghalaya on Wednesday. Sudesh Kumar, IG, BSF Meghalaya Frontier addressed border residents drawn from area of 14 Border Outposts under 23 Battalion BSF on the occasion.
