The Cherra Bosconian Union (Past Pupil) Sohra invites all the past pupils of St John Bosco Boy’s higher Secondary School, Sohra to attend the meeting on the October 16 starting from 10am to 4pm.

 Financial aid

The RR Colony Durga Puja Committee has extended a financial assistance to the children of SOS Children’s Village, Umiam during their visit to RR Colony Puja Pandal on Monday being organized by CPC.

The fund for this noble cause has been generated through generous contribution by the people of Shillong.

 Competition

CPC’s SK Das Memorial Drum Beat competition will be held on October 5 from 10:30 am at RR Colony Durga Puja Pandal.

The competition will be held in two categories – individual and group and drum beaters of more than 15 Durga Puja Pandals will participate.

 Cleaning drive

The Dorbar Shnong Mawlai Nongkwar has informed that a clean drive will be organized on October 6 from 8 am till 1 pm.

During the cleaning drive no vehicle would be allowed to enter the locality.

 NCP president

The NCP has informed that HB Nongrum has been appointed as the president of the Shillong city unit of the National Congress Party (NCP)
