SHILLONG: One person died on the spot after he was hit by an unknown vehicle at MES, Demseiniong on Sunday night. The victim was declared brought dead to the hospital.
In another incident on January 30, one Maruti car (ML-05C-1217) driven by Larisandor Nongrum (27) fell into a gorge at Laitmawiong, Laitlyngkot.
In the incident the driver died on the spot, while three occupants sustained injuries and were shifted to hospital.
