SHILLONG: LIC senior Divisional Manager B.K Panda on Wednesday launched the LIC’s Jeevan Pragati plan.
He said that claim settlement in LIC last year was 98.38 even as he added that the process of payment of matured insurance has been simplified and now the amount of the customers are paid to the bank account of the customers on the date of maturity.
Panda informed that out of 500 agents of LIC in Meghalaya, only around 20 percent are locals.
