SHILLONG: The house of the accused in the twin rape and murder case in East Jaintia Hills, was torched by unidentified persons on Friday night.
The accused, Michael Dkhar alias Emvyris Dkhar of Lad-Sutnga village, was arrested for allegedly raping and murdering two minor girls aged 3 and 11 respectively in two separate incidents.
According to police, fire tenders were called in to douse the fire which quickly engulfed the house.
