UGC seeks public cooperation in curbing ragging

New Delhi: Ahead of the next academic session, UGC has sought people’s cooperation in curbing ragging and announced several competitions for general public, students and teachers on the theme.
In a public notice on its website, the higher education sector regulator sought cooperation in curbing the menace saying ragging is a criminal offence. Among the competitions announced by the UGC on the theme of anti-ragging are a contest on poster designing, logo designing and an essay competition. (PTI)
