On February 7 at around 11.30 pm, one Bolero (ML-05M-9634) driven by Chetan Agarwal knocked down Shanti Chanda (70) at Keating Road, Shillong. Victim sustained injuries and was shifted to CH, Shillong.

Brenson T Sangma lodged a complaint on February 6 that on December 27 one BSF Maruti Gypsy (AS-01AF-0860) collided with his Maruti Alto car (AS-01N-0589) driven by Rikseng B Marak at Anogre village (WGH). As a result, driver and one occupant of the Alto car sustained grievous injuries.

Illegal transportation of teak
S.B Marak, Range Forest Officer, Southern Range, Baghmara (SGH) lodged a complaint that on February 3 at around 2 pm, during patrolling at Rewak Forest (SGH), Forest Department personnel intercepted unidentified miscreants (7/8) while they were illegally transporting teak to Simsang River. However, the miscreants managed to escape, leaving behind one loaded country-made gun.
Money withdrawn from ATM
Chandra Bahadur Thapa of Laitkor (EKH) lodged a complaint that on February 1 around 4 pm, he received a phone call from a person identifying himself as one Rahul Sharma, an SBI employee, who asked the complainant to give his ATM details. Later, the complainant found that Rs. 26,584 has been fraudulently withdrawn from his account.
Theft
Godwin M Roy Lakiang lodged a complaint that between January 1 and February 3 unknown miscreants stole fifteen tires, two batteries and eleven jacks from the stockyard of M/s Banalari World Cars, Mawlai Nongkwar, Shillong.
