Sexual assault of minor
A person lodged a complaint that on Feb. 7, one Jack Dkhar sexually assaulted his fourteen year old daughter and also threatened her with dire consequences at Latyrke village in East Jaintia Hills.
Assault
On Feb. 11 around midnight, one Suresh assaulted one Abhishek Gurung at Nongmynsong, Dongkadiang, Shillong. As a result the victim sustained injuries and was removed to CH Shillong.
Accident
On Feb. 10 around 11.45 AM, one Police Gypsy (ML-02-0071) driven by AB Constable Arjun Basumatary of East Khasi Hills DEF, dashed against one motorcycle (ML-05M-7544) ridden by Meiaislan Khardewsaw at Mawlai Iewrynghep junction, Shillong. As a result, one female pillion rider sustained injuries and was removed to CH Shillong.
Demand by brother
Lakhon Lamin of Huroi village in East Jaintia Hills lodged a complaint that on Feb. 7, his brother Lily Lamin demanded Rs 10 lakh from him and threatened him with dire consequences.
Trespass, threat
One Emanuel Synrem Khiewtham lodged a complaint that on Feb. 7 around 2 PM, three persons – Jupital Khongsdier, Pele Khongphai and Jlei Mawpat – trespassed into a suitland known as ‘Ri Sawkur’ located at Umniuhtmar village in East Khasi Hills and also threatened the complainant with dire consequences.
