Women’s Fellowship formed for alcohol free-sobriety

SHILLONG: The first ever public information event for Alcoholic Anonymous Women’s Fellowship was conducted at Don Bosco Youth Centre here on Saturday.
The platform was also instrumental in forming Shillong Women’s Fellowship on the occasion, to ensure recovery of women who are addicted to alcohol.
The event was attended by AA India a trustee of Kripa Foundation. Women in sobriety from New Delhi, Aizawl and Shillong shared their experience, strength and hope based on the 12 step programme during the event. The recovery meetings will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Don Bosco Youth Centre from 4 pm to 5. 30 pm every week.
