Sec 144 CrPC
Due to the dismantling of BUG Bridge No.52.5 at Mawphlang-Balat Road connecting Balat, Ranikor and other villages, the District Magistrate, East Khasi Hills, has promulgated an order under Section 133 CrPC directing all coal laden trucks to stop plying through this road and also for passenger buses to disembark all passengers before crossing the subway and for heavy loaded oil tankers to ply via Mawkyrwat. All vehicles should maintain a speed limit of not more than 5 km per hour while crossing the subway bridge.
NPP meet
