SHILLONG: The East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner has asserted that all the gas agencies must provide home delivery to all LPG customers.
The statement came from the DC PS Dkhar in the wake of a few reported instances in the city where some LPG companies recently were allegedly not providing home delivery to the customers.
According to DC, though he has not received any complaints, he asked people to come forward and lodge complaints if any LPG distributor fails to provide home delivery to the customers.
“If anyone is not adhering to the directive, action will be taken against them as per law,” He said. The DC said that customers must insist for home delivery since the home delivery charges have also been incorporated in the total amount to be paid by the customer.
