NAAC team reviews Nongstoin College

NONGSTOIN: The NAAC peer team conducted a three-day visit to Nongstoin College, Nongstoin on March 31 to April 2.
The visit was headed by Prof. Ramaiah as Chairman, Dr. Shella M Nabar as Coordinator and Prof. M.S Pandey as member.
The three-day visit witnessed tough interaction among students, alumni, parents, teaching and non-teaching staff as well as the college governing body.
The NAAC team visited every college department and faculty and offered their recommendations and recognized challenges for further progress.
During the exit meeting held on Saturday at Nongstoin college conference hall, NAAC Chairman stressed on the need of qualified teachers and advice that all teachers must complete PhD. He lauded the efforts in maintenance achieved by the college management and encouraged them to strive for the best. Ramaiah added that despite the fact that the college was located in a rural area, it has managed to procure many successful students.
The Peer team is yet to announce the college grade as per their assessment and added that the result would be announced later after better examination.
