Attempt to murder
On April 9 one Wanpyntiplang Niang lodged a complaint that one Everil Shadap Manar attempted to murder his nephew viz., Niia I Niang with a knife at Khliehiongriang village (WJH). As a result, the victim sustained grievous injuries and was shifted to Dr. Normal Tunnel Hospital, Jowai. Police arrested the accused.
One collapsed
On April 9 morning, one Om Bahadur Thapa (39) was found lying unconscious at Khlieh Iewduh, Shillong and was removed to CH Shillong for medical treatment.
Threatened
On April 6 one Marshal Biam lodged a complaint that on April 6, one Samson Pohthmi an employee of Sale Tax Department sends SMS in his cell phone, threatening him with dire consequences.
Accident
On April 10 one Kripayan Barua lodged a complaint that on April 9 at around 9:45 pm, a Swift Dezire (Tourist taxi) dashed against his vehicle, Toyoat Etios. There were no injuries, however, the tourist taxi fled away.
