Raped
SHILLONG: On April 12, a sixteen year old girl was raped in her residence.
The incident took place in Mawbsein Village in Umroi, an unidentified man entered her house and attacked her. An FIR has been lodged by the girl’s mother.
Body found
SHILLONG: Body of one Raju Choudhury (62) was found in his house at Upper Lachumiere, Shillong.
Necessary formalities were observed and cadaver sent to CH Shillong for PM examination.
Ganesh idol stolen
SHILLONG: On April 13 one Sushil Vashnavi lodged a complaint that unknown miscreants broke into his quarter at Labassi Lines, 101 Area, Upper Shillong and stole (1) one TV set, (2) three blankets and (3) one idol of Lord Ganesha.
