BSF recovers cattle heads

SHILLONG: BSF personnel recently apprehended one Rubiol Miah of Mankachar, Assam and seized eight heads of cattle.  SI Dharambir Singh of 23rd Bn BSF Camp Lukaichar in South West Garo Hills lodged a complaint that on April 3 at around 5.20 pm, BSF personnel apprehended the man and seized eight heads of cattle from his possession at Merenggipara village.
In another incident, SI Lokendra Singh of 23rd Bn BSF lodged a complaint that on April 2 at around 11.30 pm, BSF personnel detected movement of some suspicious elements near BP No. 109015.5 (SWGH) but managed to escape.  BSF recovered one mobile phone with two SIM cards and forty one heads of cattle.
