SHILLONG: West Khasi Hills police arrested one person on charge of raping a 13 year old girl at Nongkaseng village in the district.Police informed that one Alan Sohshang (32) had allegedly raped the minor girl in his residence at Nongkaseng village in January 2016 and had allegedly threatened her with dire consequences if she reported the matter to anyone.
In another incident, a minor girl was allegedly raped at Moolamanoh village in East Jaintia Hills.
As per a complaint filed by the mother of the alleged victim, the girl had been raped and threatened with dire consequences by her uncle Probinus Dkhar.
