Jesus Calls Ministry is organizing the Shillong Prayer Festival from May 20-22 at Polo Grounds. This event is being co-organized with local churches from Shillong, Jowai, Tura, Nongstoin and Sohra.
Cancelled
The one day state level seminar of the Meghalaya Veterinary Services Association scheduled to be held on April 29 at City Hut Dhaba, Shillong has been cancelled due to upcoming Tura MP By-election and the imposition of Election model code of conduct by the Election Commission.

Unclaimed body
One Thom Bahadur Thapa (M, 39) was admitted at Shillong Civil Hospital on April 8 and expired on April 23. Relatives are requested to collect the body from the hospital morgue within three days failing of which the body will be send for disposal by the Shillong Municipal Board.
