Abduction
On April 28 at about 12.30 pm, unknown miscreants abducted one minor girl viz., Mehak Banu (12) from Little Angel School at Mawbah, Shillong.

Duped
One Kobin Nongtdu lodged a complaint that on April 16, he handed over one signed blank cheque to one Michael Chyrmang for withdrawal of money from his SBI account.
Later, Michael Chyrmang informed the complainant that money could not be withdrawn as the bank was not having enough cash on that day. However, on Apr. 19, the complainant found that Michael Chyrmang had withdrawn Rs. 1,03,00,000/- (Rupees One Crore Three Lakhs) from his account and absconded since April 17.
One M. Maken, Senior Divisional Manager, United India Insurance Company Ltd., GS Mansion, Laitumkhrah, Shillong lodged a complaint that unknown miscreants had tampered the Policy documents of the Company and issued to innocent clients applying either for renewal or change of ownership by charging lesser amounts.
In another similar case on April 29 one R.Z.D Shira, MCS, BDO Kharkutta C&RD Block (NGH) lodged a complaint that between Decemeber 3, 2015 and February 12, 2016, one Khuljong Areng, former VEC Secretary of Kharkutta Reserve (NGH) misappropriated Project Fund under MGNREGS 2014-2015, amounting to Rs. 2,34,549/-.
On April 28, one N.N. Sangma, MCS, BDO Songsak C&RD Block (EGH) lodged a complaint that between December 3, 2015 and February 12, 2016, one Karan Marak, VEC President of Songsak Norek Megapgre, fraudulently withdrew Rs. 2,68,959/- from VEC account by forging the signature of the complainant.
Threat  
One Govind Sharma, UNN News Reporter lodged a complaint that on April 26, one Vikash Gupta, Elected Member of Shillong Cantonment Board and others criminally trespassed into his house and threatened him with dire consequences.
One Bibhuti Purkayastha of Police Reserve, Shillong lodged a complaint that on March 9 around 11.30 am, driver of a local taxi (ML-05M-1974) threatened him with dire consequences at Polo Bazar, Shillong.
Theft
On April 28 at around 4 am, unknown miscreant stole one cell phone belonging to Jibesh Ray from his vehicle parked at Gora Line, Laitumkhrah.
One Somilen Muinao lodged a complaint that on April 27 around 11.45 am, unknown miscreants stole three parcels from his motorcycle which was parked at Fire Brigade, Shillong.
On April 26 one Listowell Kharphuli lodged a complaint that an unknown miscreants stole one LPG cylinder from his residence at Cleve Colony, Shillong.
On April 26 at around 8 pm, an unknown miscreants stole one motorcycle (ML-08B-6650) belonging to one Hangshuram from his residence at Rangatari village (SWGH).
One Sarfaraz Ahmed lodged a complaint that on the night of April 19, unknown miscreant(s) broke into his shop at AC Lane Police Bazar, Shillong and stole cash Rs. 1300/- and other materials.
On April 30 around 2 am, local residents of Ampher village under Byrnihat OP (RB) apprehended one Bowen Doley while he along with his accomplice were attempting to steal one motorcycle (ML-10-1360) in the village.
On April 26 around 8 pm, unknown miscreants stole one motorcycle (ML-08B-6680) belonging to Hangshu Ram Hajong from his residence at Tangabari under Ampati PS (SWGH).
On April 29 at around 8 pm, unknown miscreants stole one Maruti local taxi (ML-05D-4935) belonging to E.Kharbuli which was parked at Mawlai Bus Stand, Shillong.
Robbed
One George S Marak lodged a complaint that on April 25 at around 6.30 pm, while he was travelling along with his wife from Assam towards Williamnagar (EGH), unidentified miscreants (10/12) armed with sharp objects stopped their vehicle by throwing firecrackers at Rangberam village (EGH) and snatched away cash, mobile phones, etc.
 Accident
On April 25 at about 7.30 pm, one Maruti car (ML-08C-6500) driven by one Raksan T Sangma dashed against one motorcycle ridden by one Simbi Sangma at Tura (WGH).
As a result, the motorcycle rider and pillion rider viz., Subam Ch Momin (20) sustained grievous injuries and were shifted to CH Tura, where the pillion rider succumbed to his injuries.
Ostracized
Agnes Kharshiing, president, CSWO lodged a complaint that on April 20, Sordar of Syntung village under Mawkynrew Block (EKH) ostracized one Rekham Nongrum H/o one Sbun Mynsong and also demanded Rs. 10,000/- as fine.
FIR lodged
One  Sunita Shil of Police Bazar, Shillong lodged a complaint that on April 26, one Rajan Deb took a loan of Rs. 20,000/- from her but has failed to repay the same.
Assault
One Dhruva Choudhury lodged a complaint that on April 28 around 9 pm, an unidentified miscreants assaulted him and some others at Quinton Road, Shillong.
