Shillong: A helper of the truck sustained injuries when a Shillong bound truck (AS19C – 4971) coming from Guwahati hit a road divider and overturned on the side of the road at Shangbangla under Umling Block, Ri Bhoi District. The incident happened on Sunday at around 4 A.M. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Nongpoh helped in shifting Sohidul Islam (22) to Nongpoh Civil Hospital.
Proceeding back home to Dalawangre from Chibinang, a motorist along with the pillion rider fell off from the motorbike after it skidded on a turning at Morongre under Selsella Block, West Garo Hills District.
