Shillong: A helper of the truck sustained injuries when a Shillong bound truck (AS19C – 4971) coming from Guwahati hit a road divider and overturned on the side of the road at Shangbangla under Umling Block, Ri Bhoi District. The incident happened on Sunday at around 4 A.M. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Nongpoh helped in shifting Sohidul Islam (22) to Nongpoh Civil Hospital.

Proceeding back home to Dalawangre from Chibinang, a motorist along with the pillion rider fell off from the motorbike after it skidded on a turning at Morongre under Selsella Block, West Garo Hills District. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Phulbari helped in shifting the motorist Nengrik Marak (24) and the pillion rider Churik Marak (22) to Phulbari CHC. The incident happened on May 1

One Bishnu Hajong (28) fell off from his motorbike and sustained injuries. The incident happened at Chandmari under Rongram Block, West Garo Hills on May 1 evening. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Tura helped in shifting Bishnu Hajong to Tura Civil Hospital.

In another motorbike related road mishap, a motorist along with the pillion rider fell off from the motorbike and sustained injuries. The incident happened at Mendisoksan under Resubelpara Block, North Garo Hills District on May 1 at around 5:42 P.M. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Resubelpara helped in shifting the motorist Sanjoy Marak (50) and Augustine Marak (40) to hospital.
