One killed in an accident
SHILLONG: A person died while he was attempting to board one log laden truck at Umtap village in West Khasi Hills.
The incident happened on April 30 when Sildistar Lyngkhoi (24) attempting to board one log laden truck (ML-10A-1609) driven by Kyrshanlang Lyngdoh (32) at Umtap village (WKH) without the knowledge of the driver, fell down and was run over by the same truck
Break into
SHILLONG: On May 3 night, unknown miscreants attempted to forcibly enter inside the ATM Kiosk at 9th Mile, Khanapara, Ri Bhoi. In the incident, the shutter of the ATM Kiosk was partially damaged.
Fraud
SHILLONG: A woman lodged a complaint that on April 29, unknown miscreants fraudulently used her EPIC for SIM card connection and later misused the SIM card.
Threaten
One Wanber Ryngkhlem lodged a complaint that on May 1 at about 8 pm, one Kmenlang Sana threatened him with dire consequences, at Kyndong Tuber village (WJH).
Theft
On Apr. 29, unknown miscreants stole a battery of Diesel Generator from ICICI Bank at MG Road, Shillong.
On May 2 around 6.30 pm, unknown miscreants stole one car battery from a vehicle (ML-05D-5114) belonging to Delbert B Blah, parked near Talent Club, Shillong.
