A pedestrian sustained injuries after he was hit by a Swift Dezire (AS01EC – 3740) while he was walking on the side of the road. The incident happened at Demseiniong on May 7 at 6:36 A.M. The pedestrian Bankitlang Lyngdoh (30/male) was shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital.
A mother along with her daughter sustained injuries when the TATA Sumo they were travelling in was involved in a collision with a towing truck at Umtrew under Umsning Block, Ri Bhoi. The TATA Sumo was heading towards Umsamlem when the collision happened on May 6 at 10:23 P.M. The injured, Dwian Lakhei (60/female) and Pynshailin Sangriang (19/female) were shifted to Umsning CHC.
