As they were proceeding home, a motorist along with the pillion rider sustained injuries when the motorbike (ML08A – 1320) was involved in a collision with a truck (AS18C – 0098) coming from the opposite direction.
The incident took place at Romggre under Dadenggre Block, West Garo Hills on Wednesday at 2 PM. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Dadenggre helped in shifting the motorist Salseng Sangma (52) and the pillion rider Balen Marak (45) to Dadenggre CHC.
Two helpers of a truck (ML04 A – 6216) sustained injuries when the vehicle collided with another truck parked on the side of the road.
The incident happened on the Shillong by-pass at Pyllun under Umsning Block, Ri Bhoi District on Wednesday at 12:51 AM. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Bhoirymbong helped in shifting Malping Rasmut (39) and Kliyo Langshiang (30) to Shillong Civil Hospital.
Tanker truck carrying kerosene overturned in the middle of the road at Byndihati under Khliehriat Block, East Jaintia Hills on Tuesday at 9:07 PM.
The driver, Kali Das (48) along with the helper, S. Malakar (42) sustained injuries when the vehicle overturned and they have been shifted to Khliehriat CHC by the 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Khliehriat.
