Body building championship
The Meghalaya Body Building and Fitness Association will organise the 6th annual body building championship “Mr Ironman 2016 (Meghalaya Open)’ on June 18.
Courses introduced
St Mary’s College, Shillong has introduced community college from the academic year 2016- 17. The courses offered are one year diploma course in health assistant, office management and mass media.
Natl Technology Day
The State Council of Science, Technology & Environment (SCSTE) celebrated National Technology Day on May 11. On the occasion, the Council conducted an exposure trip of over 250 class XI students to North Eastern Space Application Center (NESAC), Umiam and Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), Umiam.
