SHILLONG: Nongthymmai MLA Jemino Mawthoh on Monday conducted an inspection of the road widening work for the stretch behind IIM Shillong to Lawjynriew playground which is almost complete.
The legislator was accompanied by officials of the PHE, BSNL, MeECL and PWD. The road widening project was taken up at an estimated cost of Rs 62 lakh. Mawthoh said that exercise is on in Nongthymmai constituency to identify more stretches which can be widened.
