SHILLONG: The North Eastern Development Finance Corporation Ltd (NEDFi) will organise a competition for the ‘cleanest locality’ within the Municipal area of Shillong, with assistance from the Shillong Municipal Board.
A statement issued by NEDFi said Shillong has always been known for its scenic beauty and cleanliness and in order to preserve its natural beauty and as part of its developmental initiatives in different parts of the Northeast, NEDFi is organising the competition
The localities will be judged under the residential and commercial category and one winner from each category will be awarded a cash prize of Rs.1 lakh each.
Last date for entries is May 21. Participating localities can collect the form from the Branch Manager, NEDFi Ltd., M.G. Road, Shillong. Participants can also contact the phone number 0364-2504814/15 for details.
