BSF seizes 25 cattle at Lyngkhat border area

SHILLONG: BSF troops deployed at BOP Lyngkhat in East Khasi Hills seized 25 cattle from the bordering area.
Having received a tip-off from its sources, the BSF troops rushed towards the suspected area. Before the smugglers could succeed in their nefarious activity, brave jawans cordoned off the area and recovered a considerable number of cattle after a thorough search.
The BSF has been continuously seizing cattle in Lyngkhat. There have been 15 instances of seizure of cattle in the same area with recovery of 178 cattle.
