SHILLONG: Mawlai MDC PT Sawkmie inspected the CHC Mawlai Mawiong Umjapung on Friday. Sawkmie appealed to the State Government to depute another doctor to the health centre which is being looked after by a single physician at the moment.

The Yogamaya Ashram, Laban will celebrate the 41st Tirobhav Tithi of Sri Sri Thakur Suryananda Maharaj on the Ashram premises at Three Pine Colony, Laban on May 25. The Ashram has invited devotees and others to take part in the programme which will commence with the declaration of the main function open at 6 pm on May 24.
Clarification
Army Public School Shillong has clarified that along with others Eric Maxie Mawlong also secured joint third position in Science stream (CBSE, class XII) with 95.4% marks in aggregate.
