DoNER Minister to flag off ‘North East Leads the Way’ run

SHILLONG: Union DoNER Minister and Chairman, NEC, Jitendra Singh will flag off the run event “North East Leads the Way” at Polo Ground No. 1 in the city at 6 am on May 27.
Organised on the occasion of 65th NEC Plenary, the event has two categories of participants – juniors for 5 kms run and seniors for 10 kms run.
The event is presented by North Eastern Council, Ministry of DoNER in association with Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, Meghalaya.
