Tourist taxi driver clarifies

SHILLONG: A taxi driver who was accused by a tourist from Kolkata of stealing Rs 2500 said on Monday that he was not involved in the crime. To substantiate his stand, the driver, Amar Kuri of the tourist taxi (ML05 N 3794) produced a letter from officer in charge of Sadar police station which said that Kuri, a resident of Pynthorbah Block II  ah Block II was not involved in any criminal cases as per records available with the Police Station.
