Betel nuts worth Rs 3 lakh stolen

SHILLONG: Women from East Jaintia Hills village have lodged a complaint with the police recently regarding the theft of betel nuts.  One Silontis Rymbai along with the villagers have lodged a complaint that on May 22, one Emonmi Rymbai stole betel-nuts valued around Rs. 3 lakh from Lama village in East Jaintia Hills.
