SHILLONG: UDP is in favour of an alliance with like-minded parties to take on Congress in 2018 Assembly polls, the UDP president Donkupar Roy said on Monday.
Speaking to reporters at his official residence, Roy said that the party was open to have alliance with NPP as well as with any other likeminded parties.
To a question whether the party will have alliance with BJP, the UDP leader said the matter is yet to be discussed.
