NE militants present in B’desh

SHILLONG: BSF official on Thursday has informed that some insurgent groups of the NE region are taking shelter in Bangaladesh and many times they vanish by the time security forces reach the exact location.
However, the Border Guard Bangladesh often shares information with us about the movement of the militants operating in Bangladesh, the BSF official said.
Earlier, Chief Minister Mukul Sangma  had asserted that action against militants from the North East including HNLC taking shelter in neighbouring Bangladesh is imminent and in the regard, the chief minister had also asked the centre to convince Bangladesh to take action against the North East militants in Bangladesh.
