Felicitation
MLA of Mairang constituency Metbah Lyngdoh, will felicitate school students of Mairang Constituency who had secured position and division including those with highest percentage of total marks in SSLC (Class X), & HSSLC (ClassXII), ARTS, Science, Commerce, 2016 streams. Students can forward their attested mark sheets within June 25 at the office of the MLA at Mairang or at his residence at Laitumkhrah Shillong.
Poets’ meet
A Sheireng Sheidinnaba (Poets’ Meet), organised by Manipuri Sahitya Parishad, Meghalaya was held on Sunday at Manipuri Phunga Restaurant at Laitumkhrah.
The programme was attended by the members of MSPM and other invitees. A total of ten poets read out many poems during the event.
Medical camp
Star Cement Meghalaya Limited has organized a free medical camp on Saturday at Christian Secondary School, Lumshnong East Jaintia Hills. More than 400 villagers were treated at the health camp.
Experienced pedia-trician, gynecolo-gist, ophthalmologist, dermatologist rendered their services during the camp.
