SHILLONG: Childline, Shillong under Bosco Integrated Development Society in collaboration with the District Child Protection Unit, East Khasi Hills observed the World Day against Child Labour on June 11.
Children from NGO-run homes and students participated in a debate competition on the occasion. Youngsters from Rilang children’s home presented a dance item on the occasion. RJ’s from 93.5 Red FM, Shillong also took part in the programme wherein they highlighted issues relating to employing children below 14 years of age.
