JHADC gets new Chairman

JOWAI: The Jaintia Hills Autonomous District Council (JHADC) on Tuesday unanimously elected Saipung MDC, Arborhima Darnei as its new chairman.
The post of Chairman in the council has been lying vacant since May 4  after Laitsing Shylla tendered his resignation.
In a special session held on Tuesday, Arborhima was elected unopposed.
