SHILLONG: One person identified as Boshon Nongbri from Nongmynsong was arrested by the police in connection with stealing of Rs eight lakh from a house in South West Khasi Hills district.
South West Khasi Hills SP Herbert Lyngdoh, said that with the help of Shillong police they were able to arrest Borshon and from his possession Rs 64000 and a motor cycle was recovered.
The incident happened on the night of June 13, when unknown miscreants broke into the residence of Saikia Shyrkoh at Kulang village and stole Rs 8 lakhs.
