JOWAI: West Jaintia Hills police arrested two drug peddlers here on Tuesday. According to police, the arrest was made on the basis of the statement of one Romeo Synrem who was arrested earlier. The duo has been identified as Chendiam Bthuh of Mynthong Jowai and Rimi-oo Bareh of Caroline Colony Jowai. Police also seized 3 grams of heroin and tablets suspected to be pain killers from their possession.
